The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating an incident in which a Continental jet missed the runway at Newark Liberty International Airport Saturday night.
FAA officials say the Boeing 757 arriving from Florida was given instructions to land on runway 29. According to FAA officials, the jet with 157 passengers landed on taxiway Z instead.
Continental Airlines say none of the passengers or crew members were injured during the incident. FAA officials are conducting interviews with the carrier and the crew.
