Lakewood father charged after infant dies in car

Prosecutors say Moshe Ehrlich left the infant in a car for an extended period before police arrived Tuesday afternoon.

A father from Lakewood has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child in the death of his 4-month-old baby.
Prosecutors say Moshe Ehrlich left the infant in a car for an extended period before police arrived Tuesday afternoon.
Officers found the baby in distress. The child later died at the hospital.
Ehrlich surrendered to police Thursday morning. He is now being held at the Ocean County Jail.
