? The Walton Lady Wildcats tried to repeat history and make it to the PSAL A Division softball tourney when they took on Madison Monday.
At the top of the third inning, Yokasta Mercedes hammered the ball right and made it to third base. Two batters later, Mercedes came in to score. Walton was up 1-0. Madison scored runs in both the fifth and sixth innings.
Madison won the game 2-1 and ended Walton?s quest for a title. The Wildcats came out of the losers bracket in the PSAL A Division tournament last year.
