The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection lifted several advisories at Ocean County bay beaches that tested high for bacteria.
The advisories were issued Wednesday after water samples "exceeded water quality standards."
The DEP lifted those advisories on Thursday after it was revealed the poor test results were from laboratory error and not bacteria.
According to the , Beachwood Beach West is currently the only beach closed to do poor water quality.
