Today is expected to be another hot day, but you won't be able to cool off at a beach in Monmouth County due to elevated arsenic levels.
The EPA posted signs on the beach warning the public not to touch or handle any materials found on a stretch of Raritan Bayshore Beach in Keyport.
Although concentrations of lead in what’s called slag are low, the samples do have elevated levels of arsenic.
The source of the material remains unknown and is being investigated.
