A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle crash early Sunday morning on Interstate 280 west in Kearny, according to state police.

Police say three vehicles and a Fly Wing electric motorcycle were involved in the crash that happened at 4:34 a.m.

The biker, identified as 52-year-old Kyle Silas, of Orange, collided with a Ford sedan, authorities say. The motorcycle was then hit by a Toyota. Silas was ejected from the motorcycle and then struck by a Dodge sedan, police say.

No one else was injured.

It was not immediately clear what led to the crash.
