Thanks to a jilted Lodi bride?s detective work, her accused thief husband has been found.
Henry Acosta disappeared last month, allegedly taking his newlywed bride?s $300,000 check from a phen-phen diet pill settlement. Henry is also accused of taking $13,000 worth of his wife?s jewelry and electronics. After some phone calls and some digging, Margaret Acosta learned her husband took a plane to Texas and made his way to his native Honduras, where he still has family.
Margaret shared her information with fraud investigators, which resulted in an arrest warrant for her husband. Margaret?s lawyer says her detective work will probably help in getting her money returned.
