A Toms River native was named the first inductee for the 2024 class of the UFC Hall of Fame.

UFC posted a video tribute to Frankie Edgard on social media to make the announcement.

Edgar grew up in Ocean County and attended Toms River East High School.

He is the lightweight world champion.
