Jersey Proud: Teen rocket engineers hope to be part of NASA one day

They are the only team like it in New Jersey. Next April, they will head to Alabama for NASA’s prestigious student launch initiative.

It’s not Cape Canaveral, but a farm in Mount Olive – and teenagers are in Mission Control.
They call themselves the ResisoJets – a high school team that dreams of one day launching rockets for NASA.
They are the only team like it in New Jersey. Next April, they will head to Alabama for NASA’s prestigious student launch initiative. They will compete against other teams from around the country.
News 12’s Kurt Siegelin met up with these remarkable students to learn more about their stories.
