Nearly 50 dogs in Cape May County got a special summertime surprise when Salty Paws in Stone Harbor brought its mobile trailer to the county animal shelter.

The pups were treated to dog-friendly ice cream, giving them a fun break filled with tasty treats and plenty of extra attention while they were waiting for their forever homes.

The entire day had our furry friends feeling Jersey proud.
