Seton Hall’s pep band director Debbie Sfraga is retiring after nearly 40 years.
Anyone who has ever been to a Seton Hall basketball game has seen Sfraga leading the band that keeps the crowd hyped up.
Sfraga came to Seton Hall in 1986, teaching music as an adjunct before starting the pep band in 1987.
The Pirates nearly won an NCAA title in her second year. They won the NIT in her final season.
