Rep. Josh Gottheimer honored more than 20 New Jersey residents as Hometown Heroes for their dedication to improving their communities. 
The Hometown Heroes range in almost every category -- from a 10-year-old girl who started a toy drive to a man who advocated for new pickleball courts. 
Also recognized was an 85-year-old man who served more than 30 years as a firefighter and chief.
