Jersey Proud: Paramus woman honored for 35 years as crossing guard

Lorry Bauer served as a guard for 35 years. She was given a certificate this week.

Students returned to Paramus schools on Tuesday following the end of winter break. For the first time in decades, there was a new face at the corner of Forest and Spring Valley.
Lorry Bauer is no longer the crossing guard at the intersection. She is retiring after 35 years.
Paramus police gave her a certificate for her dedication.
