Jersey Proud: NJ vet honored with flyover minutes before dying from COVID-19

A New Jersey veteran was honored with a flyover minutes before he died from COVID-19 on Friday.
Sean Romero, of Absecon, was a longtime member of the New Jersey Air National Guard. He worked as a mechanic for the F-16 fighter squadron in Atlantic City.
As a tribute, two planes from the squadron flew overhead as a salute to his service and his life.
Romero was in a bed at the event, as he was severely sick with COVID-19 for weeks.
Just minutes after the show, Romero died.
The father of four was 44 years old.
Services will be held for him on Tuesday.
