Newark’s Michael B. Jordan recently received a star with his name on the streets of Hollywood.
Jordan, who started his acting career at just 15 years old, says he is grateful for the honor.
"Growing up in Newark New Jersey, the idea of receiving an honor like this was a dream, but I've always been a dream chaser,” he said.
Jordan the latest of a string of New Jerseys residents to get a star on the Walk of Fame. Five of the last seven stars were given to people from the state such as Giants legend Michael Strahan, Newark's Ice-T and Ray Liotta.
