A student at the Newark School of Data Science & Information Technology is making New Jersey Proud.

David Sawacha, 17, received a full scholarship to Wesleyan University.

The Quest Bridge Scholarship Program – a nonprofit that provides higher education opportunities to high-achieving students from low-income families – provided the scholarships.

Computer science, data science and statistics are among the majors that Sawacha is currently considering.
