Newark Vocational High School students took one last field trip for a Jersey Proud reason.
Math teacher Juanita Greene was just named Teacher of the Year in the City of Newark.
Greene and 19 of her students took the field trip to the Statue of Liberty.
Statue City Cruises paid for the field trip as a way of thanking her for her work in the classroom.
"I can't believe it. I feel like I don't deserve this. So many other teachers do. I know we work really hard. It's nice to be recognized for the hard work that we do," Greene said.
