It's not easy for a bagel order to go viral. But one in Monmouth County just did.

A man named Chris Leavitt and his mom went to Hole in One Bagel Deli on Route 33 in Neptune. Leavitt’s mom is recovering from a stroke. Her order was not easily understood.

Leavitt made an Instagram video about the great care deli worker Chris Hansen took to understand her order.

Mom got the bagel and Leavitt called it the best customer service experience of his life. He then detailed what Hansen said to him when they got ready to leave: “What's the point of life if you can't be nice once and a while?"

Leavitt put it on Instagram to his over 400,000 followers, garnering hundreds of comments and thousands of likes.

Leavitt then brought his mom back to the store. Unbeknownst to Hansen, Leavitt started a GoFundMe for him just to show his appreciation. As of Tuesday night, it's at about $16,000.
