The Morris County 4-H Rocketry Club is making headway in a national rocket science competition.
The group, made up of five students from high school and middle school, is competing in the NASA Student Launch initiative.
They designed and built an impressive rocket that earned them a spot as one of 18 finalists in the program.
Over the next few months, they'll be perfecting an 8-foot-tall rocket that can ascend to 5,000 feet.
The 18 finalists will show off their creation in front of NASA judges in Alabama next spring.
