A cup of lemonade can go a long way.
The town of Mickleton in Gloucester County hosted an Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser. The group was trying to sell enough lemonade to raise $10,000 for childhood cancer research.
The lemonade stand was set up on Kings Highway in the town. Hundreds of people bought a cup. At last count, they raised about $6,000 in cash donations.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand has raised over $23 million around the country.
