An event will be held at Riverside Park in Piscataway on Saturday that could save the life of a young teen.
Omar Danso, 13, is in need of a kidney transplant. He has been through a lot medically the last few months.
Saturday’s event is called “Omar’s Day of Fun.” It aims to raise some money and awareness about organ donation. There will be a 5K run, food and music.
The event begins at 10 a.m. on April 26.
A GoFundMe has also been set up to help with medical expenses.
