There used to be a supper club in Atlantic City called the 500 Blub. It hosted shows, performers and up-and-comers.
It was July 25, 1946 – 78 years ago to the day – that the most successful comedy duo of all time got their start. Singer Dean Martin teamed with comedian Jerry Lewis. It was their first time on stage together.
What followed was a hugely successful 10-year run in clubs, radio, television and movies.
