Members of the Columbia High School marching band got to play along with a music legend on Tuesday night.
The band played the song "Everything is Everything" with Lauryn Hill at her show at the Prudential Center in Newark.
Hill went to Columbia in the 1990s. She grew up in South Orange and still lives in the village.
The performance was part of a tour that marks the 25th anniversary of her classic album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill."
The tour continues Saturday night in Washington, D.C.
