Students in the Clifton School District got a new surprise when they returned to school in 2025.

Meet Solo – the district’s newest therapy dog. Solo is joining Chewie – short for Chewbacca. The dogs are named after the famous “Star Wars” characters.

Both dogs are labradoodles. Chewie has been making the rounds at Clifton schools for more than a year. The district is so big that they needed help.

Solo will now work at Clifton High School, while Chewie remains at the elementary schools.
