A recent New Jersey high school graduate was picked for the big leagues.

Chris Levonas impressed Major League scouts in his senior year at Lincroft's Christian Brothers Academy and became the first player selected out of the Shore Conference in the MLB First Year Player Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.

Levonas is the 20th Jersey Shore player to be taken before the third round in the history of the draft.

He committed to Wake Forest and now has a tough choice to make.
