Some seniors in Brick Township took time out of their day last week to raise money for a good cause.
More than two dozen seniors – many making it a multigenerational event – walked a mile around Lion’s Head South.
Their mission was to raise money for Mary’s Place by the Sea – a cancer treatment center in Neptune. The group raised $4,800.
This was the second year the Women’s Golf Association has sponsored the walk.
