The Passaic Fire Department honored a 9-year-old boy who is battling kidney failure.

A lot of little boys have a dream to grow up and be firefighters, but not a lot get to do it when they're still little boys.

Antonio's wish came true Tuesday when he was welcomed to the Make-A-Wish castle in Monroe by 100 firefighters from around the state.

The firefighters welcomed Antonio as an honorary member of the ranks. He was also given customized gear and a ride in the bucket of a ladder truck.
