A different kind of Turkey Trot was held in Nutley on Wednesday. The event was run by students for students.
Student ambassadors from the Washington School cheered on and supported 100 students with autism and other intellectual challenges who ran in the eighth annual race at the Phoenix Center.
Administrators say it was a great way to teach people about kindness during the holiday season.
