There was a 5K run this weekend that made New Jersey proud in every way.
The Celebration of Life 5K in New Providence raised money for the NJ Sharing Network. It was dedicated to the memory of Maddie Midwinter.
Midwinter was just 9 years old when she died 13 years ago. Her organs were donated.
Then, seven years ago, the family lost Midwinter’s brother, Dan.
The runners this weekend were keeping their memories alive and raising thousands for the NJ Sharing Network.
