Jersey Proud: 4 veterans from NJ arrive in Normandy for 80th anniversary of D-Day

It will be an emotional week in Normandy, France as the 80th anniversary of D-Day comes up on Thursday.
Veterans arrived in Normandy on Monday. Forty-eight Americans who fought in World War II are there – including four New Jersey natives. Those veterans are Chet Kochan, of Elizabeth, Fred Nungesser, of Union City, John Wardell, of Point Pleasant Beach, and Bob Gibson, of Hampton.
The Best Defense Foundation paid for their trips.
