The Ocean County Health Department holds an annual art contest where students are asked to come up with a public health awareness campaign.
Each year, they get hundreds of submissions. This year, four freshmen from Manchester Township High School went above and beyond.
The group didn’t submit artwork, they submitted a short film about substance abuse. They filmed and edited the video about the dangers of drugs and making smart decisions.
The film was shown at the Ocean County Health Department. The submission came in second place overall.
