Students at a Union Township elementary school are making New Jersey proud with their service to other children.

The third graders at Battle Hill Elementary drew a poster and wrote inspirational cards to the patients at the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside.

It was part of a kindness project started by teacher Dr. Veronica Ambrose.
