Jersey Buzz: South Brunswick siblings eliminated from 'The Amazing Race'

Rohan and Maya Mody hit a bit of a roadblock while in Mexico and got stuck on a road not meant for driving.

Rohan and Maya Mody, a brother and sister duo from South Brunswick, made their debut competing on the 36th season of “The Amazing Race” that premiered Wednesday night.

The siblings told News 12 New Jersey that it was a dream to be on the reality show and they practiced as kids. However, they say it was harder than they thought.

The team hit a bit of a roadblock while in Mexico and got stuck on a road not meant for driving.

They eventually got out of that mess, but unfortunately came in last place in the first leg of the race.

Maya and Rohan say it was a dream come true to be on “The Amazing Race” and they were able to bond as siblings.
