It was a big night for Christopher Nolan's biography of the father of the atomic bomb.
“Oppenheimer” snagged the gold for the "Best Picture" category along with six other Academy Awards during Sunday night's ceremony.
Nolan won for best direction and Robert Downey Jr. won best supporting male actor.
The film shot some scenes in Princeton — at both Princeton University and at the Institute for Advanced Study where Oppenheimer served as director.
