As some across New Jersey still wait for their power to be restored from a storm just days ago, electric crews have a new problem on their hands.
Jersey Central Power & Light says at the height of the last nor'easter, 221,000 customers were without power. They say coming into Wednesday the number had come down to around 30,000.
The power company says that a projected date for those still without power is unclear, and will depend on the response needed for Wednesday's storm.
JCP&L spokeperson Chris Eck says over 3,800 crew members are working this storm, some coming from as far away as Texas and Louisiana to help customers.
Gov. Phil Murphy lamented a slow response to power outages from Friday's nor'easter, but Eck says companies throughout the northeast had similar issues responding to a large amount of customers.
