Acclaimed late night TV show host Jay Leno is getting a lot of buzz in Englewood as the city gets ready to celebrate the grand reopening of the Bergen Performing Arts Center in Englewood on Saturday.
The celebration starts when Leno - a classic car enthusiast and current host of "Jay Leno's Garage" will hop into an AMG EQS Sedan at a private event at the Benzel-Busch Mercedes-Benz dealership on Grand Avenue. Leno will drive the luxury car through town with a lot of fanfare to BergenPac on North Van Brunt Street where he will cut the ribbon for the new and improved venue at 6:45 p.m. The public is invited to see it all in person.
Leno, who has been a supporter of BergenPac for several years, will also perform at the restored venue at 8 p.m. Tickets are still available for the show.
