The James Gandolfini Service Area on the Garden State Parkway has reopened following extensive renovations.
The service area had been closed since December 2023, leaving Montvale drivers without a local stop for bathroom or fuel needs.
Originally scheduled to reopen in July, the completion of the renovations was delayed until Monday night. Now, drivers can once again utilize the facilities at this rest stop.
The service area was named after the late actor who portrayed mob boss Tony Soprano in the HBO series "The Sopranos," which was set in Bergen County.
