A Jackson Township man accused of fatally shooting his girlfriend is facing murder charges, according to authorities.

Prosecutors say Shaquille Green killed Toraya Reid outside an apartment complex on Saturday.

Police found him running from the scene shortly after.

Green is in an Ocean County jail awaiting a hearing.
