The lack of J and M train service throughout Bushwick has left residents in a jam, as the MTA says they were replacing the tracks throughout the Memorial Day weekend.

Residents told News 12 on Monday they were left standing out in the rain as they waited for connecting shuttles from Broadway Junction and throughout the path of the two train lines.

"It's beyond frustrating, it's killing me," said Bushwick resident Ricardo. He also told News 12 he spent 30 minutes waiting for a shuttle.

"The app, it says to walk but I cannot with my cane," he added.

Others near Central Avenue told News 12 they were left turned around and confused, as their normal commute from Queens to Manhattan came to a dead end inside the neighborhood.

"It's so frustrating, and It's every weekend, and it's even worse when you're getting out from Manhattan," said commuter Brandon, who said the L, the only line that runs through the neighborhood had problems of its own.

"Yesterday it was a two-hour delay, and not running, and it does not go into Queens or as far into Manhattan. It's so out of the way," he said.

Service was set to resume Tuesday, but for midday commuters on the J and Z trains, more suspended service is planned for the middle of the week.
