The Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office is seeking information on a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened in Clifton over the weekend.
Authorities say that the crash happened early Sunday near 395 Route 3 East. Police are searching for a white 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe that has significant front-end damage, along with damage to the driver’s side mirror.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes says that the crash happened around 8:15 a.m. Mustafa Hemaid, 33, was found on the left shoulder of Route 3. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
