(04/26/06) EWING ? Police confirmed Wednesday that the body found in a Pennsylvania landfill is that of missing College of New Jersey freshman John Fiocco Jr.
Fiocco was identified through dental records after his body was found Tuesday afternoon. Police are ruling his death as suspicious, but they are not classifying it as a homicide at this point in their investigation. Investigators say there is no evidence Fiocco was stabbed or shot.
The student was last seen alive in the early hours of March 25 in his dorm after returning from an off-campus party. Police later found his blood in and around the garbage area of his dorm building, which led them to the Pennsylvania landfill.
