The Lincoln Tunnel is getting a state-of-the-art tolling system, which will require road closures for motorists.
Commuters are advised to expect closures when the work begins Saturday, Nov. 13 at the Dyer Plaza ramp in New York City.
In case of inclement weather, the project will be moved to Nov. 20.
Once finished, the modern system will eliminate the need for toll lanes and booths, and allow motorists to travel at open road speeds.
