Indian Americans in NJ celebrate historic election of Kamala Harris as VP

Indian Americans all over the country and in New Jersey are celebrating Kamala Harris's win.
The soon-to-be vice president's late mother was an Indian immigrant.
Middlesex County has the largest population of Indian Americans in the state at 24%.
News 12 spoke to some people there who say they were proud and emotional to learn Harris would become the next vice president.
They talked about the importance of representation and the fact that their daughters and granddaughters will now be able to see an Indian American in the second highest position in the country.
