Rain and sleet covered snow totals across New Jersey. The New Jersey Turnpike posted speed restrictions due to the icy conditions. Numerous accidents are reported throughout the region. Road crews are out in force trying to keep the highways clear. People are advised to exercise extreme caution when driving.
Snow totals across the state ranged from about 4 inches in some places to up to a foot in others. The temperature for the week ahead promises a slow meltdown.
