All northbound lanes of Interstate 287 reopened Monday morning after a sinkhole disrupted traffic in Morris County over the weekend.

The sinkhole opened Friday afternoon on the left shoulder, caused by a collapsed drainage pipe.

Emergency repairs restored the lanes just in time for the morning commute.

The left shoulder remains closed until permanent repairs are completed.
