Hundreds come out to Morristown for chance to appear in ‘Happy Gilmore 2’

Hundreds or possibly thousands of people came out to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for a chance to appear in the Netflix film.

An agency casting extra for “Happy Gilmore 2,” the sequel to Adam Sandler’s 1996 classic “Happy Gilmore” held open auditions in Morristown on Monday.
Hundreds or possibly thousands of people came out to the Hyatt Regency Hotel for a chance to appear in the Netflix film.
News 12’s Kimberly Buk was out in Morristown to speak with those who hoped to get cast.
Filming is expected to take place in September in parts of the Garden State. Extras will be paid about $200 to appear in the film.
