WEATHER TO WATCH: Storms move in for start of holiday weekend

WHAT'S NEW: Expect a sticky and warm Saturday with scattered showers and isolated storms. Some of those storms could be strong to severe so we're in "Weather To Watch" mode through the day
WHAT'S NEXT:  A cold front tracks through Saturday night into Sunday morning, decreasing the humidity and clearing out the skies.
News 12 Storm Watch Team meteorologist Addison Green says storms could pop up to kick off the holiday weekend, but better conditions to follow.
SATURDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH – Morning showers & storms will pass through with some clearing midday, only to be followed by more isolated storms developing in the afternoon. A few storms could be strong to severe. A high risk for rip currents along entire south shore. A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for south shore boaters. Highs near 83. Lows near 69.
SUNDAY: Mostly cloudy with a fading chance of showers in the morning, followed by more sun in the afternoon. It'll be feeling more comfortable as well. Highs near 82. Lows near 65.
MONDAY - JULY 4TH: Mostly sunny and warm but pleasant. Highs near 82. Lows near 68.
REST OF THE WEEK: Scattered shower chances pop up through the week, especially Tuesday and Thursday. Highs will be near average, in the low 80s and lows in the mid 60s.
