The holiday are bound to cost you a little more this year, whether you're traveling or staying home.
Tickets for air travel are still more expensive than the past few years due to the fact that airlines are still operating less flights than they were at pre-pandemic levels.
That, compounded with the fact that passenger numbers have been steadily increasing despite the lack of availability, means the number of available seats is far less.
However, the real sticker shock seems to be coming in the grocery aisles this holiday season, as Thanksgiving feasts are expected to cost nearly 14% more than last year.
A combination of bird flu and inflation is making the cost of turkeys alone increase some 23% year-to-year.
In more inspiring news, it does appear that more people will be gathering together for the holidays. New numbers show adults under the age of 32 plan to have an average of 10 guests this year.
