City officials in Hoboken are still wondering what the next step will be when it comes to their paved-over drainage pipes.

The administration led by Mayor Ravi Bhalla, remains concerned about the approach county officials will take moving forward and how that approach has been communicated to the city engineering office.

The city is concerned that if these issues are not quickly addressed, future substantial rainfall will result in significant negative impacts in areas not typically prone to flooding.
