Word of a gun and hit list prompted parents to pull their children out of Henry Hudson Regional School Wednesday. According to police, the rumors that began Monday night were just that ? rumors. However, parents didn?t want to take a chance in light of recent school shootings in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Colorado. More than 300 students were picked up from school early. The rumors escalated Tuesday and led police to two students who allegedly posted violent plans on MySpace.com. A search of the site turned up nothing. Police also denied rumors that the school was under a lockdown and they say they never searched school lockers.
